She received her MFA in Painting at the San Francisco Art Institute and a BA in Art Theory & Practice from Northwestern University.
Mansour’s paintings are a meditation on the space between science and spirituality--where the physical and metaphysical intersect. She layers translucent color, building a symmetrical system of intersecting strands of cells. With thousands of tiny dots, she creates an ethereal space where constellations gather and disperse, and globules emerge from the surface as tissue-like prayer beads. This cyclical process becomes a devotional practice in contemplating the exquisite balance between body and mind, presence and loss, certainty and faith.
Mansour’s work is included in numerous private and public collections, including Nordstrom, Hilton Hotels, Kaiser Permanente, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and El Camino Hospital. She is the recipient of multiple residencies, including an Honorary Fellowship and several artist residencies at the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, as well as international programs such as Cycladic Arts (Greece), Cow House Studios (Ireland), Casa Na Ilha (Brazil), and Chalk Hill (Sonoma).
As a curator, she has organized exhibitions such as 2x2’s at ProArts and Metaphysical Abstraction: Contemporary Approaches to Spiritual Content. Mansour earned her MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, BA from Northwestern University, and a Post-Bac in Art Education from SAIC. She frequently lectures and serves on panels across the Bay Area.
